Pizza has GOT to be one of my all time favorite things EVER. I mean EVER!
I was fortunate enough growing up that my sibling had a pizza shop. There I learned the basics about pizza – temperatures, stretching dough and what to do when the inevitable happens – you get a hole in the dough! There I got to play around with flavors that extended way beyond your typical pepperoni, mushroom and sausage pie.
Over the years I tried countless recipes, techniques to get that perfect crust – crispy on the outside but oh-so-chewy on the inside. Right now I’m going through a deep-dish phase.
