Gettin’ your drink on… Jello-Style!
Now I’ll eat it but it’s not something I actively seek. Though I will admit, Lime Jello does rock.
Fast forwarding to college we discovered Jello shots. PRAISE THE LORD! I mean alcohol makes everything taste better… I mean think about it. Booze in a chewable/slurpable form. GOD BLESS THE USA!!!
College ended and I grew up (well okay I didn’t really but I got a Big Girl Job). Somewhere in the Big Girl handbook there’s this code that meant I had to put away my childhood things… goodbye Mr. Jello Shot, you will be missed. Damn you handbook!
It wasn’t until we had our first 4th of July party at the house did my best friend re-introduce me to Jello shots however these demon things (yes, DEMON) were jiggliers. OHHHHHHHHHHH…. it’s even more firm and square! AWESOME! That party I had to give our friends a tour of our new which meant as you entered into the kitchen you had to have a jello shot and as you exited the house, you had to have one. Since I was the ‘Tour Guide” I had to partake. I gave that friggen tour I think 37 times. Yes, do the math… 74 JELLO SHOTS! Did I mention that these things were so strong that I swear she used nothing but alcohol in each. Hell I think the Jello was powdered booze! I don’t remember much of that night… Damn you Pam! LOL
So every party after that Pam was in charge of the Jello shots… for those of you that were at our annual ‘BooFest’ let’s just say apparently you can make jello shots in any type of mold.. um *clears throat* even those molds found in “adult stores” *blush* LOL
These ‘tings (not sure what you call booze that’s edible) are really simple but oh so friggen good!
