Happy Sunday TKW Family! Wow, can you believe it’s the last week of October already? Man this month flew by! I don’t know about you but for me, I cannot wait for this month to be over. Talk about such a tough month for me personally. Multiple friends lost loved ones, multiple family members are battling cancer and I also recently lost my day job. However with that job, while I loved it, I believe it happened for a reason. I have become really busy (thank you!) here at TKW and was at the point that I was struggling to do both with the amount of level that they both deserved. I always said that if it came to that point, that I had to choose, I would. Well fate intervened and made that choice for me.
For now I’m going to concentrate solely on TKW and growing that into my career. So am I opening a bistro tomorrow? No, not unless you want to invest (do you???) LOL No, I’m going to start off smart and with a project plan. For years you all have been begging me to publish cookbooks. I’m going to do that but on a smaller scale initially. I’m going to start off with downloadable books for your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone and so forth. I figure all those years of writing software, designing graphics I’ll put to use in this avenue.
While it’s certainly scary it’s also exciting. Granted I get my moments of “OMG you need to go out and get a ‘real’ job” thoughts, I then realize I want this, THIS, as my real job. For me, the best thing to come out of all of this was Mr. Fantabulous’ support. He’s been my rock, my crying shoulder, my ‘Lor, you’re THAT good! You CAN do this’, my… world. He’s the one that actually said for me to do this full time; that he fully supports me on this. So we’ll see where this leads. I have no expectations but rather goals I want, no… WILL exceed.
With that, I’m off to first help him plaster more – the remodel never ends and then off to work more on my cookbooks. Wish me luck and join in on my adventure! And hey if you have advice on publishing cookbooks or examples of ones you’d like to see, comment on them here! I’d love your feedback!

Change is just so opposed to our natural DNA I suppose;it just rubs us the wrong way. We second guess, we doubt, we worry, we agonize. Mostly, it’s just a growth spurt and we just wish it was easier and less painful. But there it is. You’re on a new road. Your growing and it’s all virgin territory. It’s like you’re Lewis &Clark on the river. Exciting, scary and always a wonder to behold.
That being said, I’m very proud of you. Always have been. I’m not one of your close group but I still feel that you have the intelligence, savvy, humor and verve to accomplish just about anything that you put your mind to.. and in this case.. your heart too-!
You go girl. Be as happy and productive as you please. And God bless you & Mr Fantabulous-!
