These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week I highly recommend making the Shrimp Egg Roll Pizza, Chunky Shrimp Burgers with Avocado Aioli sauce, and the Ziti Peperonata with Hot Sausage!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! Today’s one of those days where my dreams of food woke me up. And I woke up HUNGRY! I blame it on Pinterest and Instagram, to be honest.
Do you have a nightly routine?
Mr. Fantabulous laughs at me and calls social media my “bedtime story”. After I shower, brush my teeth and crawl into bed I, like most folks I know, check social media.
I prop the iPad up and use my good hand to scroll through the bajillions of food pictures. I’ll pin, like and comment. The best part of it is I get inspired.
I’ll nudge him and say “look at this!” or “doesn’t this look delicious???” He just smirks and tells me to go to bed.
Well, last night I went to bed hungry and look at all that foodporn pics just made for such delicious dreams.
So needless to say I work up starving with a vengeance!
Highlighted Recipes of the week!
I’m testing out a new feature to highlight recipes that are tried and true but ones that you may have forgotten about,
- Crunchy Cereal Crusted Chicken Fingers – This is great for big and little kids!
- Red Pepper Jelly – this is amazing over softened cream cheese and crackers
- Sourcream Chocolate Cake – moist, uber chocolate and chocolate frosting
- Mediterranean Hummus Rolls – perfect for snacking
- Creamy Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing – one of my favorite dressings
- Tilapia Burgers with Jalapeno Slaw – this is light and healthy! Skip the bun and eat in a lettuce wrap!
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave. Honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can give suggestions on what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or just tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become better on here and it gives you guys real feedback. The absolute most critical thing you can do for me is to leave a comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I, and everyone else that goes to my site, truly would appreciate it!

Thank you so much Joe! I truly appreciate such kind words!
My goal in all of this is not to have billions of “followers” or become a millionaire (though both would awesome) but rather to teach and inspire.
Even if it’s just one person I can help tame their fear of making something then to me; that’s priceless!
I’m always here to help or to inspire!
When you’re ready to make the bread and you have questions just drop me a line!
Best Kitchen Wishes!
