Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 large ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line bottom of crock pot with foil.
- Add 2 mason jar rings in on top.
- Turn crock pot on high.
- Grease bread pan with spray.
- Cream butter with sugars.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Add milk and vanilla.
- Add in bananas and beat well.
- In a separate bowl mix together flour, soda and salt.
- Gradually add flour mixture.
- Mix until combined.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into loaf pan.
- Carefully place bread pan on top of the rings – watch so you don’t burn your hands or fingers.
- Cover crock pot with paper towels and place lid loosely on top.
- Bake for about 2-3 hours on high(this will vary as to how hot your crockpot runs).
- Remove the pan from the crock and allow to cool in the loaf pan for 15-20 minutes.
- Run a thin blade around the bread and turn out onto the cooling rack.
