Crispy Baked Honey Dijon Crusted Chicken Tenders

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 Tbl dijon-style mustard
  • 2 Tbl honey
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 8 thick chicken tenders


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Combine butter, honey and dijon in a small bowl.
  3. Line a pan with foil and place a baking rack on top.
  4. Spray the rack with non-stick spray.
  5. Pat the chicken dry.
  6. Coat both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  7. Lay the chicken on the rack and brush the tenders with the honey-mustard mixture lightly.
  8. Sprinkle the panko crumbs over the tenders coating them evenly and well.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the temperature reaches 165F.
  10. In the 1-2 minutes of baking put the oven to broil and the rack to the very top rung.
  11. Remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle 1-2 Tbl of the Honey Dijon glaze on top.
  12. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until the panko crumbs are golden brown and crispy.
