Jelly/Jam Jar Vinaigrette

Forget getting the spatula out to clean out the last bit of jam or jelly in the jar! Instead, whip up a simple salad vinaigrette!

Ingredients

  • Almost empty jam or jelly jar (about 1-2 Tablespoons)
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 3/4 cup light oil(vegetable, canola, grapeseed)

Instructions

  1. To the jar (we’ll say it’s a pint) add vinegar, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, screw the lid on and shake.
  2. Remove the lid, add in light oil (vegetable/canola/grapeseed), screw the lid on, and shake.
  3. Taste for seasoning.
