Grilling regular and sweet potatoes can take your outdoor cooking to a whole new level. Learn my tips on how to perfectly grill both types of potatoes. Get ready to elevate your grilled potato game!

Ingredients

  • Russet Potatoes
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Olive oil (about 1 teaspoon per potato)
  • Kosher Salt (about 1/2 teaspoon per potato)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Yoder Smokers Flattop Grill to 350F for indirect heat. You can also do directly over the flames IF the flames/charcoal are well below the potatoes (like in my video).
  2. Clean your potatoes, dry them, coat them liberally with olive oil, and season on with Kosher Salt.
  3. Grill for 30 minutes then turn over and, depending on the size of the potato, it’ll take another 20-35 minutes until they are perfectly done.
  4. Once they are done, remove them from the grill and serve.
