Game Day Chili Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 15 ounce can ConAgra WOLF Brand Chili (any flavor)
  • 2 loaves Walmart fresh baked French bread
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, full fat and softened
  • 4 ounces sour cream, full fat
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 34 green onions, chopped
  • 23 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425F, rack in the middle.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat add the chili. Allow the chili to heat up and stir occasionally.
  3. While the chili is heating up, slice the bread in 1/2” thick slices.
  4. Taking a brush or oil mister, brush each side of bread with oil and place on a rimmed baking sheet.
  5. Bake the bread 8-10 minutes on each side, flipping once until golden brown.
  6. In a bowl add the cream cheese, sour cream and 1/2 cup of cheese; mix to blend.
  7. When the bread is golden brown on both sides, remove the pan from the oven and turn on the broiler.
  8. To assemble slather on about 2 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on top of the bread.
  9. Next, top with 2 tablespoon of warm ConAgra WOLF Brand chili and a teaspoon or two of cheddar.
  10. Place the bread back on the pan and pop the pan into the oven broiling for about a minute or two just until the cheese melts.
  11. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  12. Serve immediately.
