These cheesy BBQ Lil Smokies corn dog cups are the ultimate bite! Made with just 4 simple ingredients, they’re ready in minutes & perfect for game day, movie night, or a casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 24 Lil Smokies
  • 2 Cans of Pillsburgh Corn Dog Wraps
  • 6 Gouda String Cheese Sticks, cut into eight pieces per stick
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly brush the inside of your mini muffin tins with olive oil; set aside.
  2. Place the corn dog wraps on a piece of parchment paper. Place another piece on top and, using a pastry roller, roll the wraps into a relatively uniform rectangle, sealing the seams as you go. You’re looking for ~12 “x 14” in size.
  3. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into 12 squares.
  4. Carefully press each square into the prepared mini muffin well, pressing it down into it and up the sides.
  5. Add in one of the Lil Smokies and 2-3 pieces of the Smoke Gouda cheese.
  6. Spoon in some of your favorite BBQ sauce and bake for ~18-22 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  7. Once done, immediately remove them from the pan. Using a thin, offset spatula, remove the corn dog muffins from the pan and place them on a cooling rack for a minute or two to allow them to rest. *If you place them directly on a plate, the bottoms can get soggy.
  8. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
