Frequently Asked Questions

Pull up a chair, TKW Family! Here are a few things you might want to know about The Kitchen Whisperer®, my recipes, and how I do what I do.

♥ What is your Gold Standard Recipe Development Process?

I call my recipe-creation approach my Gold Standard Recipe Development Process. It’s the process I use to take an idea from that first “I wonder if this would work?” moment to a finished recipe I’m confident putting my name on.

I look at everything from the ingredients and techniques to measurements, timing, temperature, texture, flavor, and how the different components work together. I’m not just looking for a recipe that works; I’m looking at why it works and what needs to happen to get the best possible result.

♥ Affiliate Links in Posts

Some of my posts may contain affiliate links. If you purchase something through one of my links, I may earn a small commission, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products and brands I genuinely use, love, and believe in.

You can read more about this in my Privacy Policy.

♥ Do you accept guest posts?

Nope. I do not accept guest posts. I am the only author on my blog. The Kitchen Whisperer is about being genuine and real. You get me, Lori, 100%. So no, don’t even bother asking.

♥ Have a recipe question?

Pull up a chair and ask! Leave a comment on the recipe you’re making, and I’ll do my best to help.

♥ What does Repeatable Quality mean?

As an Engineer, I was taught that repeatable quality is what we strive for. So when I create a recipe and get it to the point where I think it’s perfect, I don’t just make it once and say, “Yep, that works!” I make the exact same recipe again…and again…and again to make sure I get the same intended result every time.

Depending on the recipe, that can mean testing it 5–10 times before I publish it. I’m looking for consistency; not just one successful batch. That’s Repeatable Quality. I want you to be able to follow my recipe exactly as written and feel confident you’ll get the delicious result I intended.

♥ Do you accept sponsored partnerships?

Yes! I’m always open to partnering with brands that I genuinely believe in and would be proud to share with the TKW Family.

I’m pretty particular about what I recommend. I won’t promote a product simply because I’m offered a partnership. I want to use it, love it, and feel confident putting my name behind it. For me, it’s not just about promoting a product—it’s about helping you discover things I truly believe can make your time in the kitchen better.

If I wouldn’t use it in my own kitchen, I won’t recommend it.
