Ingredients

  • Wooden Spoon
  • Clean Linen
  • … patience

Instructions

  1. Uncover, stir with a wooden spoon (~5 minutes) or until it’s a thick smooth pancake batter again.
  2. Recover with clean linen.
  3. Set aside another 24 hours.

I know, I know.. <insert whine> “I wanna make sourdough NOOOOOOOOOW!!!” as she says in her whiny voice

Sorry but you need to be patient.  You need the sourdough to form and the bubbles to stop well, bubbling.

So wipe those tears puppy and let’s uncover Sally…

 

As you can see she’s still a-bubblin’ away so we need to let her rest for another day.

Now get to stirring her up 🙂  You’ll notice that it’s thickening and the dough is starting to stick a little to the sides – this is good.  Means you got lots of bacteria going on and it’s going to be nice and sourdough-y 🙂

It shouldn’t take too long, maybe 3-5 minutes until it’s thick and creamy again.

Almost there…

BEAUTIOUS!    That’s what you want to see!  Now blow Sally a kiss ‘nite night and cover her back up until tomorrow.
