This post is being sponsored by the amazingly delicious folks at Tuttorosso Tomatoes. Tuttorosso Tomatoes, is a cherished 85-year-old tomato brand that’s family-owned and family-run. They recently launched a new website with recipes, an inspirational ideas blog and even stories from home cooks. As part of that, they are introducing a line-up of Sunday Sauce recipes to inspire cooks in every kitchen. They’re calling it, “Celebrate the Sauce.” This spoke volumes to me.
As you all know, marrying into an Italian family there were certain ‘tings I had to learn how to make. And we’re not talking make “ok”; we’re talking about making just like Mama and Nonna Fantabulous which were incredibly amazing! Fortunately I’ve been able to master the ‘sauce’ and make that traditional Italian Gravy that would make any Italian proud to call their own.
Based in the Midwest, Tuttorosso is proudly grown by Red Gold, which is third generation family-owned and family-run. The tomatoes are carefully grown in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, where the climate and soil are perfect for tomatoes. These amazing folks have provided yours truly with a kit to give away to one of my amazing TKW Family members as part of my Countdown to Christmas 2014!
