Mr. Fantabulous and I wanted to take a minute to wish and yours an amazingly delicious Christmas and a blessed New Year. TKW would be nothing more than a dream without the love and support from each of you. Would I still continue to cook and post recipes, of course. For me it’s more than about great food and sharing my adventures in the kitchen. It’s about the hopes of one day hearing “you’ve inspired me” from someone, a stranger, a friend, a co-worker. To me that’s the most priceless gift one can ever received. I’ve been fortunate over the years to hear from so many of you that were once so afraid to be in the kitchen, to try a recipe only to hear months later you’re now cooking every night, making homemade breads on the weekends or trying new items all because of me. It is I that must say ‘Thank You!’. You see that gift you gave me is one that touches me to my heart and soul.
It hits the sappy, mushy, get all teary-eyed parts of my soul. The kind that catches your breath, makes tears immediately well up in your eyes and a smile form from ear to ear that you just can’t control. You’ve each become a part of our lives. You’ve made this site more than just another place to get recipes. We talk, we share, we listen and we care. We help out one another and we know about each others lives.
Christmas is a time for cherishing those who bring so many blessings to our lives. You all have been a blessing and I am so truly grateful for the friendships, bonds. May your heart feel that love this Christmas and throughout the New Year ahead. May your home be filled with the magic and joy of Christmas and may your hearts be filled with love and warmth. We may not be blood but we’re a family none the less. For that I am grateful. Thank you!
