***For information about the Winter 2015 sale, go here!***
So how do I know that it’s spring time in Pittsburgh? No it’s not because the snow has finally stopped. And it’s not because it’s baseball season. Heck it’s not even because I’ve finally been able to pack away my winter coat. Nope I know it’s spring time in the ‘burgh because it’s times for All-Clad’s spring Factory Sale!!! You see twice a year All-Clad has what’s called their ‘Factory Sale’; once before Christmas and one at the end of May/early June. This year All-Clad’s Factory Sale is June 5th and 6th 2015 so mark your calendars, schedule vacation time and start saving up!
You see the Factory Sale is where their stuff that they either have too much of, has been discontinued or deemed irregular is sold at huge discounted prices. They come fully back with All-Clad’s warranty. Now the whole ‘irregular’ may cause concern but trust me, there is NO CONCERN! There may be a blemish – small scratch, logo off-center, something that causes it for the big department stores to not want to sell it. In no way shape or form does it lack in quality or performance.
I’ve been posting about these sales for years plus sharing it all over Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest you all know I have a deep love for All-Clad. More importantly I have respect for them and their superior product.
♥When: Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th, 2015
♥Time: Friday is from 9am-7pm | Saturday is from 9am – 4pm
♥Where: Washington County Fair and Expo Center | 2151 North Main Street | Washington, PA 15301 | Phone: 724-225-7718
♥Directions: http://www.washingtonfair.org/washingtonfair_008.htm if you’re close to Pittsburgh
♥Things to know:
ο They accept cash and credit card (at least they did the last 16 times I’ve gone).
ο Bring a friend and a bag to carry all of your stuff!
ο There is no better day to go though if there is something you really want, it’s best to go on Friday morning as items sell out fast.
οThe past few times people started lining up pretty early (like 6am) but I go later in the afternoon and there is always a boat load of product left.
ο What is so awesome about this sale is that throughout the entire 2-day sale, the wonderful folks of All-Clad keep replenishing the products.
ο If you buy more than your vehicle can fit (trust me, you will buy and buy and buy!) in the past they have offered UPS shipping.
ο The sale is in-person only; no online ordering. Take the trip and visit – Pittsburgh is GORGEOUS this time of year and it truly is a site to see!
ο The All-Clad employees that work at this event are SUPER nice and extremely helpful!
ο They have recently had a few shopping carts for people to use. If they are being used they do provide heavy boxes that you can either pull around or carry.
ο If this is your first time going, be prepared to be amazed!
ο There will easily be 150k-200k people who will flow through this event.
ο If you’re going and they have their 20 qrt stock pot.. leave it, it’s mine! I NEED it! *wink*

Is it worth a trip on Sunday? I was thinking of going then but if almost all the good stuff is gone I may not bother.
thanks!
Todd says
The sale is only today and Saturday, not Sunday.
Holli says
Darn… I may be able to get there tomorrow. Would 2 hours be enough time?
Todd says
It depends on what you’re looking for. It it’s a killer once in a lifetime deal, then no, it’s not likely that you will find that in the closing hour or two of the sale. However, if you want to get a really great price on a couple standard pieces that you wouldn’t find elsewhere, then yes, it’s worth it. I wouldn’t pass it up. It’s American made by local people (cookware that is).
Lots of luck!
TKWAdmin says
Holli,
Yeah BUT in the event that you can’t make it they will be having an online VIP sale of the sales June 15th-17th. I’m working closely with them as well.
To get registered for that event you need to do this:
1. Send an email to allcladvipfactorysale@groupeseb.com. and tell them that The Kitchen Whisperer sent you. Tell them that you want included in the VIP sales. They will add you to the list and send you out your username and password for the sales.
You have to do this soon though. Let me know if you have any issues getting signed up.
Best Kitchen Wishes!
Holli says
Thanks. Email sent!

Hi Todd!
I wonder if we’ve met then. That’s odd as I don’t ever recall a flyer for the floor plan. I always went by the hanging signs showing the ‘sections’ but the floor plan is a great idea.
Best Kitchen Wishes!
Todd says
It’s a shame they didn’t continue to do so with the flyer. It was nice for the people to plan their shopping experience while waiting in line to enter. If someone could show me how to attach a file I can put it on here for everyone to see. If some of you want the actual excel file I can send it to you privately I doubt the layout has changed much since then. If anyone has any all clad questions, I was in product development/quality so fire away. Unfortunately, I don’t work for AC anymore so if your question is pertaining to a new product or something to that effect I will not be much help. I now work for another housewares company.
Jeff says
When I was there in December 2013, they were still giving out flyers with the floor plan. The last time I went was June 2014, but I cannot recall if they still did the floor plan.
TKWAdmin says
Thanks Jeff! I’ll be honest I can’t recall a floor plan/flyer.

Hi I used to work for All-Clad and was responsible for managing the sale from 2008-2010. The sale runs semi-annually and is usually the first weekend in June and December. I say usually because there was one or two years were it ran a week later.
Deals are abound and you should have a wonderful time. However, items sell out the first day and are not typically replenished again. Therefore, it pays to get there early on friday. They should provide you with a flyer with a floor plan while you’re waiting in line, this will help direct traffic to the areas that people are interested in as people are allowed in the door. Yes, All-Clad has 8 check out lines and does accept all major credit cards and cash.

Thanks so much for the info Todd! I will make my plans accordingly!

we are planning on driving there Saturday am.. how bad are the crowds early in the am? I do the Fiesta tent sale in the spring and usually arrive at 7am for a 9am open and typically get a numbered ticket about 90-120 people…
TKWAdmin says
Hi Jennifer!
Typically the lines are long in the morning however they move fairly quickly. By quickly I mean you may have to wait 30-45 (think amusement park time) but they keep you in a covered area and there are bathrooms, food and tons of folks walking around discussing their products while you wait in line. There are typically 150-250k people that visit this in 2 days but it’s so unbelievably well organized that it really isn’t bad at all.

Thanks Bunches for the reply.. that’s what I expected and not a bad wait at all… I can’t wait to go for my first sale~
TKWAdmin says
You are most welcome Jennifer! You HAVE to let me know what you thought of it and what all you bought!

We arrived on Saturday about 9 15 and the guy said it was prefect timing.. waited about 4-5 MINUTES to get into the actual sale.. they provided carts, plenty of staff to answer questions and even assist in carryout! We bought 835.00 retail dollars for 290.00! They had a few flash sales during our time there- bake ware made special for the sale and even a few first quality. Check out took all of 30 seconds.. I can not say enough positive about this event!
TKWAdmin says
That’s awesome Jennifer! WAIT until the December one! Start saving up now *wink* It’s even better!

Short notice for me to fly up. How did you find out the dates of this sale so that I can plan to hit a future one?
TKWAdmin says
I’ve been working with All-Clad for years. My best advice is to honestly subscribe to my website (you’ll only ever get an email from me when I make a new post 3-4 times a week). The next sale is typically the last weekend in November/first Friday & Saturday in December.

How do the prices compare to say: http://stores.cookwarenmore.com/all-clad-specials/ ?
TKWAdmin says
Hi Mike!
Those are slightly higher than the factory sale. Typically the factory sale ranges from 40-70% off retail.

Even though I only live 2 minutes from the fairgrounds I have never been to this. I missed it last year. I want a 13 piece set of non-stick b1 or b3 do you know if they have these down there
TKWAdmin says
Really Tim? It’s surreal and one of the best events I’ve been too. It’s so well organized and the folks are truly some of the nicest around.
I do know they have full sets there but as to which set I can’t say. They restock and bring new items all day long … literally it’s like every 15-30 minutes a truck is bringing stuff up.

Hi Bill!
I don’t have a specific list for this however I am one of the first to post the dates/times. My advice is to subscribe to my website as this way you won’t miss a single notice (or recipe). I would plan your calendar for the next on around the first weekend in December. I love it as well!
