Happy Sunday TKW Family! Can you believe it, only 5 days left til Christmas! Are you ready?
I can’t help it but when it gets close to Christmas I regress to a 5 year old that’s on the edge of their seat waiting for Santa to arrive. I love to sit with all the main lights off and just have the glow of the tree lights and the decorations lighting up the room. The smell of warm cinnamon spice in the air, a fire crackling and all curled up on the couch taking it all in.
I can remember as a kid come 7/7:30 every night during the week of Christmas we’d all put on our pajamas, gather in the living room around our big 27″ console tv (LOL) and watch all of the Christmas cartoons.
That was one of my favorite holiday traditions growing up. What I love is that even though we don’t have any kids Mr. Fantabulous is like my ‘manchild’ so we still carry on these traditions. I love the fact that he’s just as big of a kid as me when it comes to Christmas and loves to watch the cartoons, listen to the holiday music, stare at the lights and of course the presents… lots and lots of presents. LOL
So this week, dinners will be simple and easy as if you’re like me dinner on Christmas day is a full blown production. Yes, even though it’s just the two of us, I still go all out.
With that, here’s to you having one blessed and amazing week!
