So remember me posting those Crispy Baked Avocado Fries (like 5 minutes ago.. LOL)?  You NEED to make this sauce to go with them.  It’s FAN-FRIGGEN-MAZING!!!

Plus I’ve used this as a dip for veggies, chicken strips, on crackers and cheese and on this killer Sweet Asian Ginger Tilapia Sammich on a pretzel roll with spinach and avocado…

Hey! I’m so excited to make this my daughter in law has made it in the past but I would love to know how much this serves. I need enough to make a dipping sauce for veggies for about 40 people.

      Hi Bella!

The recipe makes 1 cup. Each serving is ~2 Tbl. I would triple or quadruple the batch for 40 folks.

Why can’t you use fat free mayo or sour cream? Is it because you don’t like the way it tastes or because it changes the consistency? I can’t really see it being the second.

      Hi Marissa,

I actually eat almost everything fat free. I’ve made this with both fat free sour cream and mayo and the consistency does change though not initially. If you sets in the fridge for more than a day it tends to get watery and it starts to break down from the acids in the mix. The taste is a little more subdued with the fat free items so you may want to increase some of the seasonings to add more flavor.

This looks so yummy. I ama lover of cilantro. Can’t understand what it is about it that people dont like. I’m thinking this is a perfect dipping sauce for flautas or topping for chicken tacos too. Thanks.
