With July 4th falling on a Friday this year I’m thrilled that we have that day off which means I get a 3-day weekend. WOO HOO!!! Don’t get me wrong, I understand that’s not the true meaning of July 4th or why we really should celebrate it but this girl is tuckered out! I need a break and trust me, it can’t come fast enough. I’m looking forward to 3 days of nothing-ness or pants. I hate wearing pants. Well okay I love pants but I hate putting them on after I workout/shower as well it’s an effort so by default I hate pants. Just go with it, k?
Right now I have no clue what we’re doing for the 4th – perhaps our friends will have a party or maybe we’ll just stay here and enjoy ‘us’ time. Either way much food will be involved. I mean that’s a given when I’m around. When you’re with me you eat; it’s like a law or something! LOL
I decided, when creating this menu, to give you a huge variety to choose from.
I’m sure burgers and hot dogs are a given at most cook outs as they seem to be All American but if you want to kick it up a notch add a few of these yummy dishes!
