Happy Sunday TKW Family! So who’s on Halloween candy overload? Fear not! The stores all have Christmas items displayed and probably next week you’ll see Valentine’s day stuff.  LOL  Seriously, let me enjoy the holiday that’s next in line; not the one that is like 5 months from now.  Did you go to a party or get many trick or treaters? Sadly living where we do, so far set back in the country we don’t get any kids coming for candy.  That’s one thing I really about our old house.  I lived on the corner and was deemed “the best house” as I gave out “awesome candy” plus Jell-o shots for the adults.  I lived at the top of a hill and my yard was completely flat so many folks used that as a rest stop.  Plus the local firetrucks always parked their truck there to guide the little kids.

When we moved into this house we had our annual ‘Boofest’ adult Halloween party for the first 5 years. However once the remodel got into full gear (meaning it wasn’t safe to have people downstairs) we quit having them.  Those parties were awesome and I cannot wait to have them again since the remodel is nearing the end.  Whether we have them here in this house or when we move to Arizona, we will have them again.  Wanna come?

This past week was surreal.  Not having to get up at 3:30am for work was a huge shock to my system.  The first few days I still got up at that time just because my body is so used to it however Mr. Fantabulous decided that ‘hey, since you’re home YOU can help me plaster!’ Now if you recall I’ve ‘helped’ before and ended up with plaster in my arm pit!  His words this time were pretty much “Help me plaster honey. It’ll be fun! No, you won’t get that dirty..”

Um… think a Tide Stick will remove this??? LOL

plaster

I had this stuff from top to bottom – literally! And yes, before you ask, we did get plaster on the wall though I think my shirt weighed 8 pounds once it dried! But he let me do more than carry or wash stuff – I actually got to apply plaster around the stone fireplace.  So every night for the past week we would plaster for about 4 hours often not finishing up until 10 at night.  It’s definitely coming along.  Hopefully the plaster guy that is helping him out can come out this week and do the walls/ceiling.  This girl needs a break! I have no clue how you plaster people do this for a living!  It’s brutal!  Now maybe it’s just me as I do go to the gym daily and am fatigued from that so maybe that’s it.. or maybe I’m old… or maybe this type of work really sucks for me. *wink* LOL

So I finally finished up the template for my e-book and what I’ll be having offering in my first pilot book.  I hope to have that posted and for sale in the next 2 weeks.  Trust me, creating the template was the hardest thing for me.  I just could not get it right.  I think I hammered out all of the little nuances so now I can concentrate on the content.

With that, it’s time for me to get my butt back to the book and apparently more plastering …oh the flippin’ joy. UGH…swear my next house Mr. Fantabulous is not allowed to remodel one stinkin’ thing!  LOL

Here’s to you having an amazing week!
