Happy Sunday TKW Family! So was it me or were the holidays a bit of a blur? It was one day it was Thanksgiving then next it’s already the first week of January. Like I know I had 3 weeks off during that time but if you asked me to tell you one thing I did that didn’t involve cooking, baking or shopping for supplies I’d be hard pressed to think of one specific thing. But I can’t complain as I got to spend that time doing what I love for those that I love. Our holidays were quiet for the most part. Christmas day we spent it at the Fantabulous In-Laws house and then New Year’s Eve they came up here. Oh wait I do remember one thing I ended up doing though to be completely honest it wasn’t a “me” thing.
For most of us this is the first full week back to work. I, for one, am NOT looking forward to it.
For Christmas I bought Mr. Fantabulous a new 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray player and the entire 4K Ultra HD Jurassic Park set. This man, for as long as we’ve been together, has at least one of these movies on twice a week if not more. He can recite all 5 movies back to you line for line. So as soon as he set up the blu-ray player we had to watch one movie a night. I’m going to be honest – the quality is UNREAL! The picture clarity, the sounds – just everything was absolutely incredible! If you have someone in your life that loves these movies and dinosaurs as much as my hubby does, definitely get this set! Just be sure your blu-ray can play this format.
So I’m going to make some changes (in a good way) to my future recipes. I’m not changing any of the deliciousness I post or getting rid of anything but I want to be able to also give more alternatives to recipes – make it keto friendly, vegetarian or other substitutes. While I’m not gluten-free, live a keto life or vegetarian many of you guys are and I want to be able to also include you in my recipes. So if I’m unsure of how to make a recipe keto friendly I’ll ask you guys for guidance. Plus I also want to give more diversity on my blog. I want to show how you can take a single recipe and transform it into several other recipes. I’ll be posting more sheet pan and meal prep recipes as I find that’s been a HUGE request from you guys.

I’ve put together some of my FAVORITE items and products to help you stick to your resolutions of living a healthy lifestyle. Yes you can still have that cookie, cake or cheesecake. For me, I follow the “everything in moderation” mantra. If I want it, that’s fine but I have to be prepared to hit the gym and STICK WITH IT!
