Happy Sunday, Happy Easter and Happy Passover TKW Family! Growing up, even though I’m the youngest of 6, I was the only one that participated in the family Easter egg hunt. My siblings are all considerably older than I so when I was a little kid all doe-eyed and ready to search for the eggs, my siblings were all grown teenagers/young adults. I wasn’t complaining as I got all of the goodies.
Well this one Easter morning I got up only I was met with white bunny prints from my bed, down the stairs, through the living room and into the kitchen. However what I was also met with were 2 cats that were coated in white ‘powder’ and my Mom freaking out as there was this white stuff EVERYWHERE!
My Dad cut out a huge bunny paw print and then used flour to make tracks all throughout the house. Adorable, right?! Well what he didn’t take into consideration were the two cats we had and the fact that they well were cats and crazy curious. They rolled in the prints (which were easily a 1/4″ thick of flour – IN THE CARPETING) and then tracked this flour everywhere. The best (or worst depending on who you were) is that Mom had NO IDEA he did this. When she got up and saw this she almost had a coronary as it literally was everywhere and caked in. I swear for months they were sweeping up flour from the carpets and stuff. lol
Spending Time
With it being a holiday today, my going back to work tomorrow after being off for 2 weeks AND then having to pack as I fly out next week for a conference I want to spend the day with Mr. Fantabulous. Who knows, maybe we’ll go fishing or hit up a movie. Dinner will be easy as though we both love ham, we are opting to go with something else pork. Of course I’ll make deviled eggs and cheesy potatoes but with ham I can’t just make a small batch. I’ll make a real ham next time the family is up.
