Happy Sunday TKW Family! It’s Sunday, right? My days/nights are all screwed up from this surgery. I’m so not used to well, doing nothing that it’s hard for me to keep my days straight. But I’m going to have to get used to it as I have a long recovery ahead of me. Mr. Fantabulous has been awesome. He knows how hard it is for me to just relax so he’s been finding little things for me to do just to keep me involved. Even though he’s doing almost all the chores, like the laundry he’ll give me the socks to sort. Exciting I know but it’s at least something.
It’s funny how we/I took for granted the “little things” we need both hands for. Try flossing your teeth one-handed. And no cheating with those floss picks. It’s impossible.
Or better yet, try putting your hair in a ponytail with one hand. I did have him attempt to put one in for me. Guys, if you would have seen what he did you would have peed your pants! For real it was straight-up 80’s side ponytail! I looked like that chick from Napoleon Dynamite! lol seriously, check out that pic!
My new Sous Chef
Guys, I’m officially hiring Mr. Fantabulous as my new sous chef! As you all know, Friday night is pizza night at my house. It’s been that way for decades. Since I’m still in this soft cast, I can’t make pizza or stretch. It took a bit of coaxing but I convinced him to make it. I got the dough all made with his help but he stretched it out himself and did the rest. Now the only thing he needs to practice more on is his cutting skills. A 12-cut pizza ended up being 8 lopsided ginormous slices.
However, it was so good! So good that he was showing everyone, including inviting our UPS man in the house the next day to show him “his” masterpiece. lol
