These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week I highly recommend making the Cheesy Ham & Peas Penne Casserole, Grandma’s Chicken & Dumplings, and the Sheet Pan Teriyaki Chicken & Veggies!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! So it FINALLY kind of officially snowed here in Pittsburgh this winter. The most we’ve had all season is maybe a flurry or two. However, we had a whopping 1/2″ the other day. Growing up, I can remember us having snow as early as Halloween and always a White Christmas. December and January we’d get pummeled with snow.
Now, we don’t really see snow until mid-January and the “real snow” doesn’t come until February along with the subzero temps. That will last sometimes up until April. I keep telling Mr. Fantabulous that when we finally move, Pittsburgh will end up with Arizona weather and AZ will have the gloomy grayness we have here.
Winter Recipes – Do you have any requests?
This is the time of year where it’s hard as a blogger to decide what to post. Do I go with strictly healthy or more comfort foods?
What I’m planning on doing, unless you guys want something specific, is to give a variety like I normally do. For example, in the last couple of weeks, I gave you easy, healthy and delicious recipes along the lines of wraps and a high protein with lots of veggies. This week I may give you more comfort type stuff in the form of a creamy soup (with suggestions on how to lighten it up) and a dessert or two.
I’ve been craving broccoli cheddar soup something fierce. And since we just so happen to have a ton of broccoli in the fridge and y’all know I have an abundance of cheese, today seems like the perfect day to walk Mr. Fantabulous through how to make it.
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave. Honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can give suggestions on what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or just tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become better on here and it gives you guys real feedback. The absolute most critical thing you can do for me is to leave a comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I, and everyone else that goes to my site, truly would appreciate it!
