Hey TKW Family! Happy glorious Sunday to you! So wow, one week til Christmas. I know, right?! Are you ready? Me? Nope. And of course Mr. Fantabulous is upset with me because I’m not giving him any ideas on stuff to get me. Here’s the thing… there’s nothing I want or need; really. I’m not a materialistic person and I’m not one for ‘things’. Sure there’s always kitchen stuff or camera stuff however since I run TKW, my company buys all that stuff. That’s about the only downside of turning this into a company – less options on things to buy me. Now of course I did say the usual “a pig” to which I get the usual eye roll response but honestly there is nothing I want.
I’d rather see others open presents than me. So what about you, what are you hoping Santa brings you?
So I’m on vacation all week. I actually started last Thursday to which I’ve already been drug to Home Depot 3 times and Lowes 4 (twice in one day!). I’ve also been busy in the kitchen. Friday Mr. Fantabulous spent almost the entire day down at the other building which meant I had the whole house to myself. I don’t think I left the kitchen til maybe 7pm that night – and I was up at 5am! If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen the ton of pics I posted that day of all of the new recipes.

So this week I have a TON to get done still. Presents to be mailed out, a few cards to be mailed, presents for Mr. Fantabulous to still get and there’s that whole “what in the world do I make for Christmas dinner?” I seriously have no clue. I was thinking a Frenched Standing Rib Roast (either pork or beef) but then it could easily just be pasta. LOL The only requirement Mr. Fantabulous gave me was “cheesecake just like you made for Thanksgiving” and “struffoli”. Two things that are laborious and a pain in the butt to make but if it makes him happy.
Plus we want to go and spend one day this week with the Fantabulous in-laws. I have to take Papa Fantabulous his struffoli and give Mama Fantabulous the stuff I picked up for her at the last All-Clad sale. Plus it’s been a few weeks since we’ve been there. Mama caught a really nasty cold that honestly had me pretty worried. I hadn’t heard her that sick in years but thankfully she’s all better now. We had wanted to go see them yesterday but Pittsburgh got hit with a nasty ice storm that left roads pretty much off limits. What’s the weather like where you are? They said this year we may finally have a white Christmas. I honestly can’t remember the last time we had one here.
Okay I should get my butt in gear. I have a new waffle iron I need to test out, struffoli to make (grumble) and a million other things to get done. Have one fantabulous week!
