Thanks for the help….the loaves both collapsed 5 mins out of the oven. But not to worry, I will eat those suckers no matter what.
Plus, I got to use the beautiful Grater I won from your contest. It worked like a dream and I didn’t even lose any skin.

These all look amazingly tasty! I wish I had a Party to go to so that I could make one or two of them.
In the mean time I have a question for you…But it may be ‘sacrilegious’.
I have a Box Pound Cake mix (I know, I know) That I want to bump up, as it were.
Question: Can I add Fresh Orange juice and Zest to it to give it an orange flavor? And if yes, how much should I add? The mix calls for 2/3 C. water or milk, 1/4 Cup butter, and 2 eggs.
Can you help me?
Haha no worries Christie! Some days you need a little helping hand from pre-made. No judgement sweetie!
So you can add orange juice in lieu of the water as well as 2-3 Tbl zest. However the orange taste might still be slight. If you have orange oil (it’s for baking) you can add 1/4 tsp of that too. If not, no biggie. What I would advise then is glazing it in an orange glaze or just confectioners’ sugar and fresh orange juice.
