Happy Monday TKW Family! How was your week? Oh TKW Family talk about one for the books! So we took an impromptu trip to New Mexico with some friends. Since it was just for one night we booked an inexpensive hotel.
Y’all what I got was well…Motel $10 per hour (if ya know what I mean!) where the sheets were bloodstained, pillows had stains on them, bed sheets were full of cigarette holes and well.. it gets worse. It was NOTHING like the pictures or any of the reviews. I should have known when we pulled in that it was nothing like what was advertised by the following:
- we were greeted by 2 very strung-out people on the sidewalk outside the entryway *Note I do not say that in jest at all as it’s not something to joke about at all
- an armed guard wearing a bulletproof vest with 2 guns on his hip walked in (I ‘jokingly’ asked if I needed to be worried about anything with him there to which he responded “Ahhhh no, I’m just here to make sure you’re safe from any unwanted visitors and guests”) Wait, what??? “Unwanted visitors and guests???
- People lived at this establishment with pets
I lasted exactly 20 minutes there from check-in to check-out. This was something for the books that yes, we all are laughing about it but dear God this place is one for the books.
shakes her head
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments first before they decide on making a recipe or not.
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can suggest what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto, or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. When you give honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written, that’s truly appreciated! The most critical thing you can do for me is to comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I and everyone else who goes to my site would truly appreciate it!
