Cheese-Stuffed Garlic Bread Sticks Ingredients
I know what you’re asking yourself, “but Lori.. you’re a certified pizzaiolo, and you used pre-made pizza dough??? Are you cheating on yourself?” HAHA no. My friends at JusRol sent me a PR package of goodies, which included this pizza crust. I absolutely LOVE their puff pastry and crescent rolls, so I was excited to try their dough.
This really is super easy and seriously tasty! And no, this wasn’t sponsored, as they didn’t ask me to create a recipe or promote it. I was just impressed by how tasty this was, and yes, even I sometimes need a “night off” from the kitchen and let others do the work for me.
- JusRol Pizza Crust
- Cheese: Parmesan and Freshly Shredded Mozzarella
- Melted Butter
- Minced Garlic
How to Make Pizza Dough Breadsticks
I think this took me about 5 minutes to assemble. I would recommend preheating the oven, letting it come to temperature, and then making this, as it really doesn’t take much time at all. You don’t want this resting on the counter while you wait for the oven to heat up.
- Preheat the oven and make the garlic butter.
- Roll out the pizza crust, leaving it on the parchment paper it’s rolled in.
- Brush the garlic butter all over the crust, leaving a 1/2″ around the crust.
- Put the mozzarella cheese on half of the dough. Using the two ends of the parchment closest to you, pick it up and fold the dough in half to form one long, cheese-filled piece. Seal the edges, brush the top with garlic butter, and sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese.
- Carefully transfer the parchment paper and dough to a rimmed baking sheet.
- Using a pizza cutter, make cuts every 1″-2″ (depending on how big you want them to be). Bake until golden brown, and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
