Get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try one of these delicious and easy recipes this week! This week I highly recommend making the Chunky Shrimp Burgers with Avocado Aioli sauce and the Slowcooker Ham, Potatoes & Cabbage Stoup!
Happy Sunday TKW Family! Hey before I delve into the happenings of last week I wanted to remind those you that, if you recently subscribed to my newsletter but you’re not receiving it it’s one of two reasons:
- You didn’t confirm your email subscription. When you sign up it automatically sends you a confirmation email from “me” asking you to verify that you really want to receive deliciousness. Check your spam/junk folder just in case. With switching to a new subscription service you may to say “Hey it’s from Lori so it’s OK!” and allow your email to receive it.
- Or the other reason is it’s going to your spam – again just add me to your safe sender’s list.
I would hate for you to miss out on my recipes, tips and giveaways. PLUS every Sunday newsletter receives a TKW BONUS RECIPE!
So how was your week? Mine was super fun. I flew out to Michigan for Triscuit to learn more about how they grow their wheat, where/how it’s harvested, the co-op company, eating some delicious food from a righteous Chef, and also about some delicious new products (seriously, you guys are going to LOVE it! AND it’s not a cracker! Wha!). Look for my article to posted soon with all of the details and perhaps a hint about these new items.
House Updates
While i was away Mr. Fantabulous was left to do the last bits of house work done in order to list it (we’re thinking in 2 weeks it’ll be on the market!). Now I love that man dearly but I swear at this point he’s finding things to improve. I mean it’s one thing to pressure wash the patio or the side of the one house that faces the fire pit or even the decks but to pressure wash the benches, swings, picnic tables and so forth. I mean it needs done but I don’t think it will make a difference in the overall sell of the house. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me and that I’m just so over this house and all the freaking work for the past 12 years that I just want out. But I will admit it does look amazing.
He then re-stained all of the decks, benches, swings which gave them new life. Yesterday since I had to run out in the morning I stopped at At Home (I swear more than 75% of my items in my house are from there!) to pick up some small outdoor pillows for the one swing, 2 cushions for chairs and the most cutest olive tree for the screened in porch. I know we said once the house sells we’ll have a huge estate sale as I really don’t want to move everything 3000 miles away but that tree – yeah I’m keeping it!
Amazon Prime
As you know Amazon Prime day is happening July 16th. These deals are AMAZING and only available to Amazon Prime members! I HIGHLY recommend you considering trying it out! I’d be lost without it! Throughout the day on Facebook I’ll be sharing up-to-the-minute deals that all you foodies will love and want to get in on!
I have an inkling the InstantPot, Air Fryer and those other hot ticket items may be reduced so definitely keep an eye out for them!
And with that all, I need to get going. I have 2 articles due this week and I haven’t even started on editing the photos! ACK! Plus I want to help Mr. Fantabulous again outside. Dare I say it but I *think* we need to run to Lowe’s or Home Depot as I need to get some plants/herbs for outside. Yeah I know, super late in the game but at least I’m getting some, right?
With that, have one fantabulously amazing week!
