These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week, I highly recommend making my Pittsburgh City Chicken, Hot Honey Butter Spatchcock Chicken, and Ricotta Stuffed Italian Sausage Boats.
Happy Monday, TKW Family! I hope you had a fantastic week last week! Y’all, I seriously cannot wait to see this new hand surgeon this week. Your girl is hurting something pretty bad. With my PCP taking me off all NSAIDS and even Tylenol the past few weeks, I’ve been in agony.
The simplest of things I’m struggling with doing. Being a Chef, you need your hands, and I had a “come to Jesus” moment where I realized I HAVE to ask for help in the kitchen. Thankfully, I have some amazing folks in my life stepping up to help – even if it’s just whisking eggs, I can’t do it. Hopefully, this new doctor will help find a solution (that doesn’t involve the surgery I’ve been putting off for years).
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments first before they decide whether to make a recipe or not.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. I truly appreciate honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written! The most critical thing you can do for me is comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe, I read the comments, and that’s honest feedback to me. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. Everyone else who goes to my site, and I would genuinely appreciate it!
Highlighted Recipes of the Week!
These recipes are tried and true, but ones that you may have forgotten about.
- Homemade Chili Sauce: Learn to make chili sauce from scratch in minutes using simple pantry ingredients. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory for seafood, sauces, and dips. Skip the store-bought stuff and make it at home!
- Homemade Pineapple Ice Cream Topping: Make your own using three ingredients!
- Cold Tuna Noodle Casserole with Peas and Dill: My Mom’s cold tuna noodle casserole is creamy, packed with tuna chunks, green peas, and the brightness of dill!
- Meat & Mushroom Lovers Pizza Calzone: This folded half-moon pizza is a showstopper, filled with cheese, bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms.
- Pimento Cheese Dip: This pimento cheese recipe has been handed down through the generations in my family. I’ve made it an elevated classic, giving it a perfect balance of flavors, a creamy, irresistible texture, and easy to whip up! It’s the only recipe you’ll ever need!
- Cheesy Mushroom Bacon Pizza: This wood-fired pizza, shaped like khachapuri, has a cheesy crust stuffed with cremini mushrooms, crispy bacon, and datterini tomatoes. It’s then kissed with olive oil and finished with burrata, making it your new favorite pizza!
