These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes!
Happy Monday, TKW Family! I hope you had a fantastic week last week! Mine started awesome, but then quickly went downhill fast. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days.
I had what’s called a Silent UTI. This means I had zero symptoms until the violent shivers happened, my lips turned purplish-blue, and I went from a 99.4°F temperature to almost 104°F in a matter of 5 minutes.
I ended up with a strain of E. coli caused by the silent UTI. I developed Sepsis, and since my blood was infected, it went to my brain, causing horrific headaches and brain fog. If you recall, this is the same thing that happened to me last year.
Since I have an autoimmune disease (RA), it can mask the symptoms of a UTI, which means it can turn fatal in a matter of hours. My ‘telltale sign’ is the violent shivers. From now on, the advice I received from the Infectious Disease doctor is: “Don’t live out in the country where you’re more than an hour from a prominent hospital.” Lovely…
So my apologies for not posting any recipes last week. I had them go, but I had to finish some edits. This week you’ll get them.
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments before deciding whether to make a recipe.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. I truly appreciate honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written! The most critical thing you can do for me is comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe, I read the comments, and that’s honest feedback to me. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. Everyone else who goes to my site —I would genuinely appreciate it!
