Happy Sunday TKW Family! ‘Tis a gloomy, rainy day where all you want to do is put on a big ol’ pot of soup, curl up under the covers and watch Hallmark movies all day. I’ll admit it; I’m one of those folks that are LOVING Hallmark Christmas movies right now. How about you? Too soon or bring it on?

Last night, Mr. Fantabulous was looking at the DVR and said, “What’s this Christmas movie you recorded?  You know it’s only October, right?” I just laughed and said, “Don’t bust on me for my ho ho movies Mr ‘watch Jurassic Park 4 million times a week!'”

I got new Kitchen Porn and you guys DEFINITELY should look into getting this!

So we’ve had the same toaster/convection oven for 13 years. It was great and all but the last 2-3 years it definitely died a few times and pretty much was on life support. It was sent back to the manufacturer already and I lost track of how many times Mr. Fantabulous fixed it. I finally said, “Honey, I’m buying a new one and I don’t want to hear any argument.” He just looked at me and said, “Huh? I don’t care, honey, buy what you want.”

Being the Engineer I had to research it quite extensively. I’m not one that goes right away for the most expensive or the cheapest or the one that has the most function. No; I look for craftsmanship, quality, reliability in a product. Since I already have a few Breville products and love them, I wanted to look at their ovens. They have about 4-6 to choose from and I’ll be honest, I was on the fence originally about getting the one I did. It’s big – like bigger than most “toaster ovens” but it’s not a simple toaster oven.

This fits on our counters and has about 8-9″ of clearance above it. You can slide it back and open the door without it hanging over the counter. That, honestly, was our only concern but all it took was one use of it and I knew I made the right choice!  This one  has13 cooking functions: Toast 9 slices, Bagel, Broil, Bake, Roast, Warm, Pizza, Proof, Airfry, Reheat, Cookies, Slow Cook, Dehydrate. For me, the fact that I could fit a quarter sheet pan in it, proof bread, fit a 12 cup muffin pan AND air-fry was HUGE! I didn’t have to lug out the other products I own. I just needed this!

I HIGHLY recommend putting this on your wishlist as it’s INCREDIBLE!
