These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes! This week, I highly recommend making my Ricotta Stuffed Italian Sausage Boats, Pittsburgh Style Grilled Cheese & Steak, and Instant Pot Homemade Cheesy Hamburger Helper.
Happy Monday TKW Family! How was your week? Last week was absolute hell for me. That’s the only way I can describe it. So we had an issue outside that required us (well Mr. Fantabulous and a neighbor) to do some pretty grueling back-breaking labor outside for days. Other than getting in the way, my job was to grab water, drinks, rags, and light tools.
But y’all know me, I just can’t sit back and let others work while I just sit there like a sack of potatoes. I’d try to help, get yelled at (because my hubby didn’t want me hurting my back), and then I’d try to help again.
The thing was, where I had to get to them was on pretty uneven and rocky terrain. Long story short, I jacked up my hip so badly that I ended up on crutches for a few days. At one point I was dragging my leg because it wouldn’t work right.
And since I’m stubborn, I refused to go to the ER as it was just Sciatica. I’ve had it before but never in this hip and never EVER this bad. It’s a week later and I’m STILL in pain. Thankfully one of my hubby’s friends is a massage therapist and he sent us over exercises to do. My GOD those things are purely satanic while doing them (seriously I could have filled up 7 swear jars during the exercises) but they do help.
I’m at up and slowly walking around sans crutches but this will take a few weeks to fully go away…hopefully.
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments first before they decide on making a recipe or not.
We all visit blogs looking for delicious items and inspiration. What I find (and you should as well) the MOST USEFUL thing is the comments that people leave honest feedback, good or bad but respectful please, on a recipe.
You can suggest what you’d tweak or a spin you put on it. Heck or tell me that you loved it! Like how to make vegan, keto, or not use mushrooms.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. When you give honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written, that’s truly appreciated! The most critical thing you can do for me is to comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe I read the comments as to me, that’s honest feedback. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. I and everyone else who goes to my site would truly appreciate it!
