These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes!
Happy Monday, TKW Family! I hope you had a fantastic week last week! Last week was unreal weather-wise. The past few years, we’ve not really had super bad haboobs (dust storms) or monsoons, for that matter. But y’all, we got pummeled bad with both! Since the beginning of the month, we’ve had something like two Category 5 dust storms. Normally they last, eh… 15 minutes, but the one I swear lasted 40 minutes. At one point I thought our house was going to blow over.
So many folks had trees down or snapped in half, and damage to their houses and cars. Thankfully, all we had was a few blown-over bushes that we just had to stake back up. This week we’re taking a few days off before the holiday season starts for me (yes, I’m smoking turkeys and hams starting September 1st). I’m also starting a new pizza-and-flour series for one of my clients, which will put me in front of the camera. I actually don’t mind doing it, but one thing I did tell the client is that it’s going to be real talk. Meaning no scripts, no fancy edits, and hey, if I stumble saying Italian words, I’m just going with it. There’s so much fakeness on social media that folks have moved away from actual conversations and being down to earth. Stay tuned for the series!
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments before deciding whether to make a recipe.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. I truly appreciate honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written! The most critical thing you can do for me is comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe, I read the comments, and that’s honest feedback to me. So when you make a recipe of mine or plan on making it, leave a comment on the post. Everyone else who goes to my site, I would genuinely appreciate it!
