These Weekly Menu recipes allow you to get out of that same ol’ recipe rut and try some delicious and easy dishes!
Happy Monday, TKW Family! I hope you had a fantastic week last week! Last week was, well, not what I had planned; that’s for sure. I had a jam-packed schedule where I had to shoot 6 on-camera videos, create 12 new recipes, and attend a few meetings.
That all got squashed thanks to a sneeze. Yes, you read that right: a sneeze. I suffer from horrific allergies. I just got retested and failed all but 2 prick tests, and I failed every olfactory test. I’m on several different medications, none of which really seem to help. What was my allergist’s advice? Move…
Anyway, I had a really bad sneezing fit (I sneeze about 10-15 sneezes at a time, and they are hard). Well, I sneezed too hard and ended up hemorrhaging most of the blood vessels in my eye and all around the outside. I didn’t think anything of it until that night when I looked and panicked. I’ll spare you the grossness, but almost my entire eye was bloody and had several occulsions; 2 of which were concerning. After seeing a specialist, the doctor said, “It’s going to get worse look-wise before it gets better.” I did have a nasty headache (though on the opposite side) from the injury and still have some pain/swelling. Thankfully, he cleared me to fly, as I have a work trip this week. But sadly, no eye makeup for at least 2-3 weeks, and I’m to ‘stay out of nature’. LOL
Did you make a recipe? Leave a blog comment!
So why do I ask this? Two reasons:
- Honest feedback is appreciated. It helps me learn and grow.
- Most folks read the comments before deciding whether to make a recipe.
This is how I grow and become a better Chef. I truly appreciate honest feedback on the recipes you’ve made by following the instructions as written! The most critical thing you can do for me is comment on the blog recipe post.
When I look at someone else’s recipe, I read the comments, and that’s honest feedback to me. So when you make one of my recipes, or plan to, leave a comment on the post. Everyone else who goes to my site, I would genuinely appreciate it!
